I'm currently writing the first draft of a novel featuring a young dragon. I'm on chapter seven of nine with a total of 20,500 words. Yeah, I know, it's a super short book. It'll get longer in the second draft.
I'm also working on a collection of poetry, which is currently 22 pages. I'm looking at submitting it to the Button Poetry Chap Book Contest, but I'd have to wait until next year, because we won't be in the States, and it pays for a trip if I am. So I'm looking for other options.
